Italian saxophonist with a prestigious career, Vittorio Quinquennale combines virtuosity, pedagogy, and artistic creativity.

A renowned soloist, he collaborates with prestigious institutions such as the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma and the National Academy of Santa Cecilia, while pursuing an international career.
A complete and passionate artist, committed to teaching and musical excellence.

Vittorio Quinquennale graduated from the S. Pietro a Majella Conservatory of Naples in 1998, where he studied under Maestro Francesco Salime. He then continued his training at the Conservatoire of Versailles, in the class of Jacques Desloges, where he was awarded a gold medal for his exceptional talent.

In 2001, he joined the class of Jean-Yves Fourmeau at the Conservatoire of Cergy-Pontoise, where in 2002 he received a gold medal for his chamber music performance as well as a first prize in concert performance.

A pedagogical and international career

Since 2002, he has been appointed professor at the Conservatoire Georges Gourdet de Suresnes (Paris).

From 2002 to 2007, he also taught saxophone at the I.C. Regina Elena in Rome. He is regularly invited to give master classes in Italy and abroad.

His concert activity has led him to perform on prestigious stages in Belgium, France, Canada, the United States, Spain, and Greece. Since 2001, he has distinguished himself as a soloist at the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma and has collaborated with the renowned National Academy of Santa Cecilia.

Artistic and discographic collaborations

Vittorio Quinquennale has taken part in several recordings for prestigious labels such as Sony Classical and has collaborated with the Berliner Youth Orchestra as well as with the famous Maestro Ennio Morricone.

He is also the founder of the Kansax Quartet, with which he has recorded two albums: Rodeando and Live in Naples.

Since 2008, he has been the soprano saxophone of the orchestra of the Banda Ministeriale della Guardia di Finanza.
