Salvatore Alessandro Miceli was born in Palermo in 2000.
He studied saxophone with Frederico Alba at the Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali “V. Bellini” in Caltanissetta, where he obtained both his first- and second-level academic diplomas with the highest grade of 110/110 cum laude and special distinction.
He continued his studies:
➤ first in France at the PESMD of Bordeaux in the class of Marie Bernadette Charrier, earning the Diplôme National Supérieur Professionnel de Musicien (DNSPM) in Classical and Contemporary Saxophone with highest honors, as well as the Diplôme d’État de Professeur de Musique (DE) – Saxophone
➤ then in Belgium at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in the class of Vincent David.
He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Classical Saxophone at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP) in the class of Maestro Nicolas Arsenijevic.
