Kimberly Castrillón, originally from southwest Colombia, earned her Master’s degree in Saxophone Performance in 2018 at the Universidad del Cauca (Popayán), under the guidance of Sandra Paola Jiménez.
She then pursued advanced studies at the Conservatoire Régional Jacques Thibaud in Bordeaux with Marie-Bernadette Charrier, and in 2022 obtained a Master’s degree in Artistic Education, Musical Performance, and Research at the Conservatorio Superior de Música Óscar Esplá in Alicante, under M° Sixto Herrero.

She is currently pursuing training in music pedagogy at the Conservatorio Superior de Música Óscar Esplá and teaches saxophone at the Ciudad de Elche Music School.
