Batista Jr. is a PhD student in Music Performance at the Universidade de Aveiro, in Portugal. He concluded his Bachelor and Master degrees in Music/Clarinet from the School of Music of the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, where he is currently an Assistant Professor.
