Johann Koh is a saxophonist and educator from Singapore, graduated from the prestigious Indiana University Jacobs School of Music and the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts.
Award-winning at numerous international competitions, he has distinguished himself as a soloist and as a founding member of two prize-winning quartets, achieving success in renowned competitions such as:

➤ NOLA
➤ Macauley
➤ NASA Chamber Competition
During his years at Indiana University, Johann served as President of the IU Saxophone Organization and received the prestigious IU Jacobs Performance Fellowship during his master’s studies.
He has collaborated closely with numerous composers, creating and premiering works for solo saxophone and ensembles, notably with the Blitz Saxophone Quartet.
As a teacher, Johann has shared his passion since 2017 at:

➤ The Singapore Police Orchestra (2020–2021)
➤ Private lessons and workshops for school orchestras
In the United States, he taught undergraduate students at Indiana University and participated in the Distance Learning Program, providing online lessons to students in underprivileged regions worldwide.
He has also given masterclasses for soloists and quartets, notably at Purdue University Fort Wayne.
From 2017 to 2023, he served as Musical Director of the Protégé Saxophone Ensemble and has been actively involved in the Singapore Saxophone Symposium.
