Gergő Szánkár earned his Bachelor’s degree and IGP (Instrumental- und Gesangspädagogik) diploma in Budapest under the guidance of Levente Puskás.
He continued his studies in Belgium with Hans de Jong, graduating with a Master’s degree magna cum laude.
