Throughout his career, Elvis Sousa has won numerous awards in national and international competitions, including:

Elvis Sousa made his solo debut with the Madeira Classical Orchestra, performing the Concerto for Saxophone and Orchestra by composer Anne Victorino d'Almeida. Additionally, he has contributed to several acoustic research projects at the Institute for Research and Coordination in Acoustics/Music (IRCAM) in Paris.
Recently, he completed his Master’s Degree in Music Teaching at the Catholic University of Portugal. He currently resides on the island of Madeira, where he regularly performs solo concerts on the island, in Portugal, and across Spain and Italy.
In 2025, he will release his first classical music album (alto/soprano saxophone and piano) in collaboration with Japanese pianist Yuko Hironaka.
