Spanish saxophonist with exceptional virtuosity, Elisa stands out for her eclectic repertoire and her commitment to contemporary creation.

Winner of numerous international competitions, she collaborates with prestigious orchestras and leads bold multidisciplinary projects.

Born in 1987 in Málaga (Spain), Elisa studied at the Conservatory of Málaga, the University of Málaga (Pedagogy degree), and the Conservatoire Jacques Thibaud in Bordeaux with Marie-Bernadette Charrier.

She obtained her Advanced Diploma in Saxophone and received the prestigious Music Málaga Foundation Prize, awarded to the top academic record of her class.

A high-level saxophonist, Elisa has won numerous national and international competitions:

➤ 1st Prize – Ramón Guzmán International Competition (Santiago de Compostela)

➤ 1st Prize – MálagaCrea Competition

➤ 1st Prize – Conservatory of Málaga Soloists Competition

➤ 3rd Prize – International Saxophone Competition in Lodz (Poland)

➤ 4th Prize – Intermusica International Competition (Austria)

➤ Gold Medal with High Distinction & SACEM Prize – Luxembourg Competition for Young Soloists

➤ Finalist and semi-finalist – Torneo Internazionale di Musica (Paris) and Jean-Marie Londeix International Saxophone Competition (Bangkok)

An Outstanding Orchestral Career

As a recognized artist, Elisa has performed as a soloist and orchestral member with prestigious ensembles:

➤ Banda Sinfónica Municipal de Madrid (BSMM)

➤ Symphony Orchestras of Málaga, Granada, Bilbao, and Bordeaux

➤ European Youth Wind Orchestra (EUYWO)

➤ Málaga Philharmonic Orchestra (OFM)

➤ Provincial Symphony Orchestra of Málaga (OSPM)

➤ Spanish National Orchestra (OCNE)

She has performed in renowned venues such as Teatro Cervantes and Teatro Echegaray (Málaga), Palacio Euskalduna (Bilbao), Auditorio Nacional de Madrid, Sala Maria Cristina (Málaga), and Auditorium de Bordeaux.

Highlights include the world premiere of “Mercurial” for saxophone and orchestra by Eneko Vadillo with the Málaga Philharmonic Orchestra.

A Committed and Innovative Artist

Alongside her performing career, Elisa is dedicated to teaching and knowledge transmission. She has been invited to give masterclasses in Spain and abroad (Málaga, Seville, Cartagena, Alicante, Trento, Valencia…) and currently teaches at the Professional Conservatory of Baza (Granada).

A multidisciplinary artist, she develops innovative projects combining music, dance, literature, electronics, and visual arts.

She has performed in emblematic venues such as Fundación Juan March (Madrid), ADDA Alicante (CNDM), and Noches en los Jardines de los Reales Alcázares (Seville).

In 2020, she released her recording Women Composers, Los seres del mar, selected among the best albums of October by Ritmo Magazine. In 2021, she created the Ómicron XXI project with guitarist Pilar Rius and launched the show 4×2, awarded the Málaga 2020 Artistic Production Prize.

The same year, she presented the Swiss Composers program internationally with pianist Cornelia Lenzin.

A strong advocate of contemporary creation, Elisa has collaborated with composers such as Eneko Vadillo, Arturo Fuentes, Alejandro Cano, Diana Pérez Custodio, Reyes Oteo, and Sergio Blardony, continuously enriching the 21st-century saxophone repertoire.

She is also the artistic director of the Jornadas de Música Contemporánea de Nerja, a Henri Selmer Paris Artist, and a D’Addario Woodwinds España Ambassador.
