Diego Vergari graduated with highest honors in saxophone from the Conservatorio “N. Piccinni” in Bari under M° Fabio Sammarco, and later completed a Master’s degree at the Conservatorio “G. Rossini” in Pesaro with M° Federico Mondelci, achieving the top mark (110/110), honors, and distinction.

In 2018, he founded the Duo SaxCelle with cellist Antonio Aprile, and has performed in duo with pianists Christian Greco, Scipione Sangiovanni, and, since 2022, Francesco Libetta.
Projects and Ensembles
Since 2021, he has been a member of the Italian Saxophone Orchestra, founded and directed by M° Federico Mondelci.
In 2023, he created the AdriaN Saxophone Quartet, and in 2024, he joined the AlGoRhythm Ensemble, a saxophone quartet dedicated to the classical and contemporary repertoire as well as the exploration of “Musical Cubism”, an innovative style.
