Daniel Sánchez Manjavacas, born in 1993 in Campo de Criptana (Spain), discovered music at the age of four at his hometown’s music school.
In 2013, he completed his training at the Federico Moreno Torroba Integrated Center for Musical Studies in Madrid, where he received an honorary distinction in saxophone.
Education and awards
In 2017, Daniel completed his higher studies at the Castilla y León Conservatory of Music under the guidance of Juan Clemente Novo and Ángel Soria, earning top qualifications.
His talent was quickly recognized with several chamber music prizes:

➤ 1st Prize – Jóvenes Músicos Competition (Salamanca), where he also received the highest distinction with his quartet
Artistic career
Daniel Sánchez Manjavacas has performed a wide part of the classical saxophone repertoire as a soloist, both with chamber ensembles and with symphony and wind orchestras.
In 2019, after two years of studies in Paris, he obtained his Master in Musicology, Performance, and Heritage at the CRR of Versailles and the University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, under the mentorship of Vincent David.
The same year, he joined the Spanish Armed Forces Military Band after successfully passing the national competition.
Advanced training and current projects
Always striving for excellence, Daniel has trained with internationally renowned saxophonists in advanced courses and masterclasses, enriching his expressive playing and musical interpretation.
He currently combines his professional role with an active artistic career, performing regularly on stage.
