Costantino Kosta Ladisa is an Italian saxophonist and composer, born in Bari in 1965 and living in Rome since 1987. After starting out on the guitar, he devoted himself to the saxophone, an instrument he has played since 1994 with the band Adika Pongo.
➤ In the 1980s and 1990s, he participated in numerous musical projects in Italy, appearing on national television.
➤ In 1997, he recorded in New York at GRP Jazz Studios with Steve Khan.
➤ In 2000, he created and directed Sound Around, the first European television program dedicated to music and technology.
➤ A writer and critic for Acting News and Jazz Magazine, he also works as a presenter and music critic for RaiSatShow and teaches at the University of La Sapienza.
➤ He composes for film and advertising, and wrote award-winning soundtracks such as "Ne Pas Mourir" (2003) and "Nessun messaggio in segreteria" (2005).
➤ He has performed with international artists such as Lionel Richie, Norma Jean Wright, Luci Martin, Eric Marienthal, Fred Wesley, David Garfield, and more.
➤ His album with Adika Pongo, released in 2011 on Expansion Records, reached the Top 5 in the UK Soul Chart.
➤ An endorser of prestigious labels (Cannonball Saxophones, Drake Mouthpieces, AMT Microphones, AKAI EWI), he tours extensively in Italy and internationally.
➤ He founded projects such as Da Nu Jazz Quartet, Groovin' High, Italian Groove Collective, and FairPlay.
