THE BIOGRAPHY OF ASAKO INOUE

After graduating from the Osaka College of Music, Asako INOUE continued her studies at Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, receiving First Prize by a unanimous decision by the jury.

As a soloist, she has performed many concerts in Japan and internationally.

A recipient of many awards, she received a fellowship to study in France under the Japanese Ministry of Culture Overseas Program for artists, and the Art Encouragement Prize by Hyogo prefecture in 2007. As the Asako Inoue and Yoshiki Fujii Duo, she won the Keizo Saji Prize in 2007, which is given to the most challenging music performance of the year by the Suntory Music Foundation.

Additionally, she has been a jury member for many prestigious international competitions in France, Taiwan, China and Japan, including the entrance and the graduation examinations of Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris.
She currently teaches at the Osaka College of Music.
